I will be busy all day or most of the day tomorrow, Sunday, and Tuesday. I will be getting more busy in general, so I'd like to release the game as soon as possible, which would be on Monday, the 18th of August. This can be anywhere on that day depending on how soon I'm done fixing the issues and typo's the testers have found, and will be in my timezone so depending on your timezone it can be sooner or later.
I've gone through 2 of the 9 beta test reports I've received so far. If you're a beta tester and still have to send me a nickname you want me to credit you with, a vote for your favorite character, or the beta test report itself, please do so before Monday.
Update: I've now gone through all 11 beta test reports I've received. I will go through the game myself now (not because I don't trust the testers got everything, but because I might have made a mistake while correcting mistakes/problems the testers reported. Depending on how fast I go through the game, I might actually release the game tonight.

The beta for Mistress Degree is done and has been sent out to all 17 testers if I'm not mistaken. I'm wasn't very neat with archiving applications, so it's very possible someone didn't receive their beta test message but did apply, so if you read this and that is the case with you, please forgive me and contact me on TheNecromancerDonations@Gmail.com or on Pixiv so I can send you the information and file after all.
If you read this and didn't apply for the beta test, please do not apply at this point but wait for the public release of the game.
While the beta testers test the game, I will make a simple visual release post like I did for Teacher in Training.

Just had Ren'Py test my game for errors, none found. They were nice enough to give me this info though.
The game contains 1,821 dialogue blocks, containing 26,711 words and 138,627
characters, for an average of 14.7 words and 76 characters per block.
The game contains 3 menus, 257 images, and 13 screens.
The biggest issue I have left right now is trying to do something with the main menu, other than that I can probably finish the game within an hour. If I really can't make different things appear on the main menu I'll just beta-release the game with the standard non-dynamic main menu and possibly change the standard menu image to make it a little less bland for the final version.
Update: The problem has been solved, I can now start making the menu dynamic. This does mean I have to go back to drawing, so it will take a little longer to finish the beta now.
Update #2: There's no need for a nightshift tomorrow night, I'll just keep working until I'm done tonight (or until I collapse). The beta will be send out in the next couple of hours.
Update #3: Mistress Degree's 1563 files are currently being processed into a game executable.

Now that the monthly updates have ended I'll try to keep the people that take the time to check out this blog up-to-date with a list of the work I need/want to do on the game before beta-releasing it. I'll add something to the list whenever I think of it, and cross it off when I'm done with it.

This is the last one of these updates.
Currently, I still need:
- If possible, someone to make exclusive sound effects and/or music instead of license-free stuff.
- A good simple font to use for the textbox. I've looked into some options for a while now but although it's not perfect, I'm actually getting used to the standard font.
- Anyone with knowledge of Python or Ren'Py to help me with the programming.
The goal of 29 scenes done by the end of July was reached and easily surpassed as I'm now done with drawing most of the art! I've actually been saving a radio recording I had high expectations of for the past few days and listening to other ones first until I realized I was already working on the very last scene and would never even reach that show if I saved it any longer (I only listen to talking radio and podcasts etc while I draw art, I can't write or program and listen to something at the same time). I've still got 5 hours left to listen to now and almost nothing to draw while listening to it. All that's left is one edit I have to make because I made a mistake in an older scene I drew I didn't take the time to fix yet (fixing several slides already made is a pain), and I have to do something with the menu (I still have to decide what exactly to do with it, the 'adding items' idea doesn't really work with so many possible endings/routes).
I will now continue writing the rest of the story to fit the event scenes I already drew. After that I will start trying to program the CG Gallery, and then I will go over the entire game and add appropriate music, special effects, and possibly screen shaking as I go. After that I will play the game one more time and fix anything that needs fixing before I send the game and more information to the beta testers.
