Time

I've only been able to finish up the third CG Event Scene for the Class route this week. Although I was supposed to have lot more free time now that I'm on summer break, unfortunately I can't afford not accepting jobs at the moment, meaning I'm working quite a lot now. I wish I could decline work and have more free time to work on this project, but since I need the money and this game will be free, I can't. Sorry about that, but I'm still aiming to finish this before the end of August.

Amount of images

Sorry, I'm a bit later than usual this week.

Last week I said how I wanted to finish up 2 CG Event Scenes this week. I almost did, but I decided to give the second event scene some extra images. This gave me an idea for something to talk about: the amount of images per CG Event Scene.

In general, I use very few alterations for images. Most eroge games have 20+ images per scene, I have about 5 on average. I use as many as I think are needed: I don't want to create more versions of the same image just to make the game 'bigger'. If a scene works with just 3 images, I give it just 3 images. I also rarely change expressions during a CG event scene, which might be part of the reason for the low amount of images per scene. This is probably a point I should improve in the future.

Almost 75% of the event scenes are complete now. Release is getting closer.

Short term plans

Although it's still troublesome, I found a way to get passed the problem I had with Photoshop. I wasn't able to finish the CG event scene I was working on, but at least I finished the base picture. So only the variations are left. I'm hoping I can pick up the slack and finish this one and another event scene coming week, as I would like to make at least one new CG event scene per week now.

While I wasn't able to use Photoshop and my internet connection was down too I made a short extra 3DCG story for reaching 100 followers on Pixiv. I'm planning to release at least one more 3DCG story before game release, as I've barely used the CBT fetish in them yet.

I would also like to show some more screenshots in not too much time, and I will probably give you some background info on the characters with it.

No progress...

Short update this week.

Sorry, I've been spending way too much time on a single picture of the first CG event scene in the second route to make any significant progress these past 2 weeks. This picture turns out to be quite a lot of work, but even though it'll barely get any screentime at all and I'll only get to use it once, I feel like I can't ignore it by using a black background and a description.

Hopefully I'll be able to get more work done this coming week.

Progress

Almost done with my finals, meaning my 'break' from spending a lot of time on this project will be over too. So this week I will publish the changelog of what I've been able to get done these past weeks.

One out of two routes is done, which means I'm actually over halfway done as most of the technical stuff like the save/load and other menus have been made, just like some of the non-CG event scene art (All character designs, some backgrounds I can use in the second route too, etc).

I'll be away next weekend, so no blogpost then. After that I will return to my usual schedule and resume the weekly changelogs (although the first one would cover 2 weeks). I might eventually start blogging about some subjects a little less specifically about this project, I'm running out of game related subjects. If there's anything you want to know or see a blogposts about, comment.
